Arktide 2.0

Arktide's biggest overhaul of the year.

Arktide 2.0 UI showcase

This release focuses on doubling down on what works and removing what doesn't. The result is a simpler, more powerful workspace for working with projects, files, and audio.

With this update, you can now:

  • Use a unified file manager directly from the main project view
  • Add files from any project to any other project
  • Upload files in roughly half the time compared to before
  • Work in a significantly upgraded UI
  • Control playback speed during listening

New: Unified File Manager

The old standalone stems and files views have been merged into a single, unified file manager.

You can now:

  • Access all relevant stems and files directly from the main project view
  • Add files from one project into another without leaving your current context

This consolidates asset management into one place and removes the need to jump between multiple views.

Improved: Faster File Uploads

File uploads have been overhauled and simplified.

  • Uploads are now roughly twice as fast as before
  • The process is more streamlined, reducing friction when adding new assets

Improved: Playback Controls

Playback speed controls have been added to the player.

  • Slow down or speed up playback to suit your workflow
  • Review sections more precisely without needing external tools

Updated: UI

The UI has received a major visual upgrade.

  • A more modern, cohesive look across the app
  • A cleaner visual language that better reflects Arktide's focus on audio work
